5 Different Types of Shower Enclosure

showerEveryone has different tastes when it comes to bathroom design, and one of the major ways you can stamp your own personality on the room is with the type of shower enclosure you choose. There are countless different shower enclosures available. The best one for you depends on the space you have available in the bathroom, where the shower will go, your budget, and your design preference. Take a look at these different types of showers to see which one will suit you best.

  1. Quadrant Shower

A quadrant shower is an excellent option for a corner space. The shower has sliding doors or a hinged Shower Door that opens out into the bathroom. Sliding doors are best when you have limited space. You’ll find quadrant doors in all different types of designs and configurations. There is a good deal of choice in colour and finish.

  1. Frameless Showers

If you want something modern and sleek, a frameless shower is the ideal choice for you. A frameless shower has minimal impact on the look of the room. In fact, it can be a nice addition to a modern bathroom since there are no distracting features to take away from the appeal of attractive bathroom tiles, or a nicely patterned floor. A frameless shower gives an airy, spacious feel to the room. This can be particularly useful in a smaller bathroom space.

  1. Sliding Door Showers

If you have very little space in the bathroom and want to maximise it, a sliding door to the shower enclosure is ideal. You not only save on the space that would be taken up by opening the door into the room, but it is easier to get in and out of the shower and the sliding door looks attractive as it neatly fits into place.

  1. D Shaped Showers

When you have a tight corner or another small space to fill in the bathroom the D-shaped shower is ideal. You get more space inside the shower thanks to the shape of the stall, and you can also benefit from some lovely curved and attractive designs. The D shaped shower is perfect for a second bathroom or an en-suite.

  1. Steam Showers and Shower Cabins

These cabins are completely enclosed with plenty of extra features inside that make showering an amazing experience. You can get jets of water, steam, music, seating, and more – take a look at some of the options available and see what you can add to the overall shower experience.
